Well, Players, technology strikes again!  I’ve heard from several different folks letting me know that their edition of The Notes was blank.  There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to who didn’t get anything.  Different ISP’s, different mailing lists, no consistency…  As my little (well, younger) brother continually reminds me, computer science isn’t.

So I’m going to resend The Notes.  If you got yours the first time, please forgive and delete.  I’m also going to take an opportunity and add a notice from Bill Durham that I missed (sorry, Bill!).  Bill's note included pictures, so I'm going to attach them.

Sorry for all the confusion.  I’ll get the resend out as quickly as I can, but with limitations on how much can be sent in specific periods of time, it will take most of the day.  Now, Bill’s note.

Howdy, friends and neighbors!

This summer I will be appearing in School for Scandal at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. Richard Brinsley Sheridan's late 18th century comedy lampoons the affectations of the scandal-mongers in London society. I play Sir Benjamin Backbite, the "odious poet" and "disagreeable lover" who unsuccessfully pursues the beautiful young Maria.

I think the production will be wonderfully funny. Watching a play in the outdoor setting of the Theatricum is a lovely way to spend a summer evening or afternoon. The grounds are ideal for picnics before the curtain, so bring some food, dress for the weather, and enjoy Sheridan's silliness! Please be sure to linger around and say hello afterwards (although it might take me longer than usual to get out of costume and makeup.)

Below are the School for Scandal performance dates and times. You an go to www.theatricum.com for tickets and more information.
